Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced that 22 lakh e-Khata properties are now available for residents within its jurisdiction. The Chief Commissioner of BBMP has urged all property owners in Bengaluru to obtain their e-Khata, which has been made available online. This initiative, directed by Deputy Chief Minister and Bangalore Urban Development Minister DK Shivakumar, aims to streamline the distribution of e-Khatas for all Bengaluru residents.
As part of this effort, BBMP has prepared 22 lakh draft e-Khatas, which are now accessible through the official website. Citizens can easily access their e-Khata by visiting https://bbmpeaasthi.karnataka.gov.in.
The process for obtaining an e-Khata is simple, allowing for contactless and faceless transactions. Here's how residents can retrieve their property’s e-Khata:
Steps to Get Your e-Khata Online:
Search for your draft e-Khata on the ward-wise list. You can identify your ward using your property tax receipt.
Enter the required details and print your final e-Khata. Documents needed include:
Aadhaar
Property Tax ID
Purchase/Registered Deed Number
BESCOM ID (for vacant sites)
If any information is incomplete or mismatched with BBMP records, such cases will be forwarded to the AROs for further review.
